Support group meeting
ECZEMA sufferers are being urged to attend the next meeting of a support group inspired by a brave youngster.
Kristian's Wish was set up by mum Donna Emmerson after watching her young son Kristian battle with the painful skin condition.
Earlier this summer, the Mail told how the four-year-old suffers from dry and flaky eczema on his body and needs regular treatment with soothing creams.
His condition developed within months of moving from Billingham to Hartlepool. The next meeting of the
support group is due to take place next month at the Grand Hotel, in Hartlepool, on Wednesday, December 2, at 7pm.
Alistair McCann, who works for pharmaceutical company Larnaca Healthcare, is the special guest at the meeting and he will be speaking about different treatments.
The Hartlepool Voluntary Development Agency has helped the group find its feet.Donna, 27, of Bishop Cuthbert, said she felt there was a need for a group of this kind in Hartlepool so other sufferers do not feel alone.
