Teenager hurt in car crash on Brierton Lane, Hartlepool

A TEENAGER was taken to hospital after he was involved in a car crash.

The incident happened in Brierton Lane, in Hartlepool, near the Brierton Sports Centre.

A spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service said a call was received reporting the incident at 7.57pm on Tuesday.

An ambulance arrived at the scene at 8.01pm and the teenager was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton, suffering with a minor leg injury.

A crew from Stranton Fire Station was called to the scene at around 7.40pm.

A spokesman at the station said: “We spent an hour in attendance, swilling away an oil spillage following the road traffic collision on Brierton Lane.”
