HARTLEPOOL’S thermometer looks set to rise as the week goes on.

Temperatures in Hartlepool – on Monday, June 30 – will hit about 14C with 3mph winds and cloudy skies, although some sunshine is predicted for the afternoon.

Tuesday should see blue skies and warmer climes of 17C, but with a slightly stronger breeze of 8mph.

Temperatures are predicted to rise further still on Wednesday at 22C, according to the Met Office, but the sky is likely to be filled with a layering of light cloud. Wind speed should be around 11mph.

Thursday’s temperatures will drop slightly to 20C with winds of 14mph and more clouds hanging over the town.
