AFTER a beautiful weekend of weather in Hartlepool the sun was set to continue to shine in the town today.

But unfortunately the clouds will gather as the week goes on and temperatures will tumble.

Although it wasn’t expected to be as hot as the weekend today, forecasters predicted temperatures to peak at around 15C in Hartlepool.

Temperatures will remain around the same on Tuesday but it will be a lot cloudier with the chance of rain at lunchtime.

And people can expect much of the same on Wednesday with temperatures again reaching highs of around 15C and dropping to lows of around 12C on the night.

The weather will turn increasingly unsettled on Thursday though with rain expected to fall throughout the day.

Temperatures will once again peak at around 15C with experts predicting the rain to have stopped by Thursday night.
