Town man arrested in firearms probe
A HARTLEPOOL man was among 10 people arrested for firearms offences.
The arrests, made throughout the Cleveland area on Friday, came following a six-month investigation.
A 39-year-old man was charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent, conspiracy to possess prohibited weapons and conspiracy to possess prohibited ammunition.
Three men, aged 39, 36 and 32 were charged with conspiracy to possess prohibited weapon and conspiracy to possess prohibited ammunition.
A 41-year-old man was charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and a 29-year-old woman was charged with the same offence and released on bail.
Two women, aged 31 and 33 and two men, aged 31 and 22, were bailed pending further inquiries.
