Vandals wreck school playground
VANDALS went on a wrecking spree in a school playground.
The yobs clambered into the grounds of Rift House Primary School, in Masefield Road, Hartlepool, and threw around toys and upturned plants.
Police say the attack left school bosses "very upset" and they had to carry out a considerable clean up in the grounds.
Officers are now appealing for information to help catch the vandals who struck between 6pm on Monday, May 17, and 7am the following morning.
PC Julie Bell, of Hartlepool Police, said: "While only minor damage has been caused, staff have been very upset by what has happened and the clean up required was considerable."
