JOYOUS bride-to-be Gemma Kerr couldn’t control the tears as she was announced as the Bride of the Year on Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old wept and hugged fiance Andrew Bazeley, 25, as she landed the crown - and the dream £13,000 wedding that goes with it.
She told the Hartlepool Mail, which runs the competition in conjunction with Robert Usher Photography: “I cant believe it. Is this true? This is not going to sink in for ages.”
The couple were chosen as winners on a night when every finalist did themselves proud.
