POLICE were stopping traffic in both directions on a section of Brenda Road, Hartlepool, due to a fire at an industrial estate.
Drivers were diverted after a fire broke out on Toft Farm Industrial Estate, off Brenda Road, in Hartlepool, at 8.34am today.
Four fire engines and a team of firefighters tackled the blaze with three water jets.
A hydraulic platform was also called for to help tackle the flames.
The fire was put out at around 1pm and the road was reopened at 10am.
