VIDEO: Proud owners show their bulldog spirit

Waiting for Video...

HERE is your chance to see another great selection of pictures from a family bulldog event.

The Northern Bulldog Day was held at the Rossmere Centre, in Rossmere Way, Hartlepool, at the weekend and there was a host of activities to keep people entertained.

The Mail’s chief photographer Tom Collins got some great snaps from the event and here is a spread for readers to feast their eyes on.

People from across the country flocked to the event to enjoy stalls, refreshments, professional pet portraits, a pet parade, dog fancy dress and a children’s corner with face painting.

There was a colouring and drawing competition while Vicky Collins-Nattrass, who helped launch Bulldog Day UK and is chairman of Bulldog Rescue, ran an educational theatre session involving an open forum question and answer sessions.

There were also representatives from Northumberland and Durham Bulldog Club and Yorkshire Bulldog Club and Pets at Home Hartlepool at the event.
