Woman taken to hospital after car crash
A MOTORIST needed hospital treatment after a two-vehicle crash.
A silver Renault Scenic and a white Citroen Berlingo van were involved in a collision in Hart Lane, near Wiltshire Way, Hartlepool, at around 10.15am on Tuesday.
The female driver of the Scenic was taken to hospital to be checked over.
Firefighters from the town’s Stranton Station attended to help get the driver of the van out of his vehicle after being asked for help by the police.
The road was blocked off to allow ambulances to acess the scene and it reopened at 10.40am.
