Get into the Christmas spirit by taking part in a wreath-making workshop in a Hartlepool school.

The workshops have been organised by the Friends of Stranton and will take place later this month and in December.

They will be held in the school dining hall in Southburn Terrace, and are open to all ages, families, individuals or community groups.

The sessions are free, and people will be able to create a eight-inch wreath per family.

All the Christmas tree clippings, wreath rings, ribbons, decorations and pine cones will be provided and the session will be led by Stu White.

The workshops take place between 3.30pm and 5pm and are on Monday, November 23, 30 and December 7, and 14, with another two sessions to be confirmed.

Sessions must be booked by calling 01429 275595.
