EXERCISE enthusiasts are being invited to get in shape the pole fitness way.

A Hartlepool dance school has launched Friday pole fitness classes and urged interested people to get in touch soon as places are likely to go fast.

KR Dance in Dalton Street holds three lots of pole fitness sessions on Fridays at 4.30pm, 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

Dance school owner Kim Ross said: “For the first time since starting the classes we have spaces available in our sought after Friday sessions.

“These sessions are limited to only 15 in a class and as we are the only company from Hartlepool to Durham to offer these unique full body workouts, we are sure they will fill up fast.”

Kim described the classes as “perfect for complete beginners or returning pole enthusiasts”.

She said the sessions were half price for the first session and £5 for every class after.

Kim added: “These classes are a proven workout for the mind and body and have offered massive weight loss and inch loss.”

She said the sessions were “one of those things where you do not realise you are getting a workout until the next day when you are really aching”.

“It is a full body workout but it mainly works your arms, your core muscles, and your lower back and legs,” she added.
