Delighted Donna Dakers is already enjoying a fantastic year - and now she is hoping it till get even better.
The Hartfields Medical Practice worker won the receptionist of the year title at the Hartlepool Best of Health awards – a year after she also made it on to the shortlist.

Since then, she has taken on a new title of practice supervisor at the practice based at Hartfields Manor, in Bishop Cuthbert, Hartlepool,
And 30-year-old is now back in the running for an award again after receiving a nomination which said: “I have worked with Donna for nearly six years and all she ever does is help and support both staff and patients.
“She always has a lovely smile.”
Stunned Donna said: “I am really surprised to be nominated again and I would be blown away if I won it, but there are so many really great people out there.”
Looking back on last year’s awards, Donna said it was “quite an experience.
“It was lovely to hear all the things being said about people, but I never went there expecting to win. It was a massive surprise when I did.”
Now, she is bidding to win again. Donna joins a strong list of nominated contenders for this year’s awards - backed by North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, the Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Clinical Commissioning Group, the Cleveland Fire Support Network and Seneca Homes.
The deadline for entries has now passed and the judges will soon meet to draw up a shortlist.
Once they have narrowed down the field, the winners will be announced at a grand finals night, to be held at the Hardwick Hall Hotel on Thursday, June 18.
