A FAMILY left upset after their pet cat went missing have appealed for help to find it.
Loveable Felix has not been seen at his home in Gala Close, Hartlepool, since a week last Monday and his owners are becoming increasingly concerned.
The three-year-old black and white tom cat – described as “daft as rags” – does not wear a collar as he keeps pulling it off.
Community staff nurse Sue Dixon, 38, said her son Nathan Dixon, nine, is lost without his little friend and has appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Sue, married to 40-year-old Jonathan, a production technician, said: “Felix is very friendly.
“He is usually out for about an hour on an evening but usually comes straight back in.
“The odd time he may stay out all evening but he always comes back in the morning.
“We have been out looking for him and called the council and local vets but have had no luck. Nathan in particular is very upset, they were best of friends.”
Nathan, who attends Holy Trinity Primary School, has an older brother Adam, 13, who goes to Dyke House Sports and Technology College.
The family also has another cat called Missi and a pet dog called Skye.
