A DAY out for dogs is set to raise money for a very important cause.

Hartlepool & District Hospice and Pets at Home have teamed up to invite dogs and their owners to a charity fundraiser.

The annual Dog’s Day Out, at Summerhill, in Hartlepool, on June 29 will see dogs of all kinds getting together for events including a sponsored walk, dog show, raffle, and treat bags for all dogs.

Hospice events fundraiser Greg Hildreth said: “This is one of the most enjoyable events of our fundraising calendar and we are delighted to be working with Pets at Home again this year.

“They have really helped us get this event off the ground and provide great support on the day. Thanks also to Summerhill who have hosted the event since it began in 2010.”

Registration is £5 per dog and packs can be obtained by calling Greg on (01429) 855529, emailing ghildreth@hartlepoolhospice.co.uk or by visiting the Hospice website at www.hartlepoolhospice.co.uk, where people can also register online.
