MPs say planned changes to NHS reform proposals are not enough and the Government needs to “start from scratch”.
Local MPs have dismissed a major re-write of the NHS Health and Social Care Bill as “political games”.
A panel of experts has called in Prime Minister David Cameron’s NHS overhaul plans following “genuine and deep-seated concerns” after more than half of people surveyed said they believed the bill was simply a way of privatising the health service.
Almost three quarters said Mr Cameron should drop the previous proposals and start from scratch.
Fifty-four per cent said they did not feel the NHS was safe in the Prime Minister’s hands.
