MEMBERS of a neighbourhood watch will hold their first meeting of the year next week.
The Belle Vue Residents’ and Neighbourhood Watch will meet on Thursday, February 21, at 1pm at the Belle Vue Community Sports and Youth Centre, in Kendal Road, Hartlepool.
An officer from Hartlepool Borough Council will be attending the meeting to talk to residents about the new refuse and recycling services.
Organisers say there will also be representatives from housing associations Endeavour, Housing Hartlepool and the Guinness Trust.
The meeting is open to all residents and councillors and there will also be representatives there from the police, victim support and the town’s anti-social behaviour team.
Anyone with any issues or problems they would like to raise can raise them publicly or in private at the end of the meeting.
Further meetings are scheduled to take place on April 4, May 16 and June 27.
The popular community centre is also holding a bingo session every Monday between 1pm and 3pm and everyone is welcome.
