THE calming and fitness effects of yoga can be enjoyed as part of a new course.
Mill House Leisure Centre, in Raby Road, Hartlepool, will start to run a six-week programme of introductory sessions, which start on Tuesday.
Run by Hartlepool Borough Council’s sport and physical activity team, they will be held from 6pm-7pm and are open to men and women.
The council’s assistant sport and physical activity officer, Liam Lewis, said: “Yoga has long been celebrated as a great way to improve your fitness and escape from the stresses of daily life and these sessions are a great way for newcomers to try out the technique.”
