A STRANGE little visitor has turned up at Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience in time for the sell-out Halloween extravaganza ‘Spoo-Quay’ being held today.
Known only as ‘Goblin No. 23’, the curious creation has already settled in at the Museum of Hartlepool and people have the chance to give it a name.
Goblin No. 23 was created out of chicken wire and papier mache by Stuart Hanrahan, a quay assistant who works at Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience.
As well as the naming competition, there will also be a quiz.
Both start at Spoo-Quay tomorrow night and will run until Thursday, November 10.
The winner of the naming competition will be announced at ‘Christmas Crackers’ – the festive evening of family entertainment at Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience on December 15.
The Museum of Hartlepool is open every day from 11am to 4pm and entry is free.
