A CHOIR will be back in action when it performs at a Hartlepool concert later this week.
The Hartlepool Ladies Choir will be entertaining the audience at St Hilda’s Church on Saturday. It is part of a summer series of prom performances on the Headland.
Choir spokesman Eileen McConnell said: “Anyone with a love of singing, who also appreciates good food and wine, should hurry along to The Cornerstone, in Park Road, and purchase a ticket for only £7.50 to ensure an evening of musical delight and culinary pleasure.”
This has been a busy year for the choir which has already performed at St Luke’s Church, in Billingham, at the Borough Hall, in Hartlepool, for the chairman of the Council’s Charity Concert and at Grange Road Methodist Church, in Hartlepool.
Its members were also among 2,000 singers who performed at the Royal Albert Hall Festival of Brass and Voices concert in November last year.
The choir sings a wide range of songs, including pieces from musical theatre, and meets every Thursday from 7pm at Grange Road Methodist Church Community Centre.
