HOLIDAYING Jeff Dickson helped kick on our Proud to be a Poolie campaign.
The highlight of the 39-year-old’s trip to Barcelona was a visit to the city’s Camp Nou football stadium.
Jeff, from Brougham Terrace, Hartlepool, was blown away by the 99,000-seater stadium of the Spanish champions, which he admitted was a bit of a contrast to Hartlepool United’s Victoria Park.
Jeff, who works in the control room at Corus, said: “The stadium was unbelievable, really special. I was joking saying it’s the only way I’ll get to see the ground because I can’t see Pools getting there any time soon.
“It was a brilliant experience and I was proud to show off the poster.”
