A grand day out
We went to Gisborough Priory
To have a look around.
The beautiful architecture
You it will astound.
The priory was founded
In 1119,
But now sadly it’s just ruins,
Caused by erosion in the years in between.
But it is still a beautiful sight,
And around the grounds you can walk.
You can even take your dog
To run around in the park.
There is St Nicholas parish church
Just outside of the priory grounds.
It is a beautiful church,
And is free to have a look around.
So if you are thinking about a day out,
To Gisborough you should go.
You can go into the church
For a cuppa and to say hello.
