Get bird spotting tips with a big breakfast

A NATURE reserve is going all out to celebrate Farmhouse Breakfast Week and the Big Garden Birdwatch.

RSPB Saltholme is cooking up a tasty breakfast in its cafe before providing visitors with all the advice and bird spotting tips they could need.

Keep hold of your breakfast receipt and collect a free Big Garden Birdwatch survival kit including record sheet, pencil, tea bag, biscuit and some bird seed.

Then keep your eyes peeled in your own garden as part of the national bird counting survey.

The event takes place on Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30, at Saltholme, Seaton Carew Road, on the way to Billingham.

Breakfast is from 10am until 11.30am with tips and advice from 11am until 2pm.
