THESE are the latest adorable festive animal photographs sent to the Mail as entries continue to ‘paw’ in for our popular Christmas competition.

Hartlepool schoolgirl, Connie Sullivan, 14, is that excited for her first Christmas with her dog Charlie that they got him into the festive mood early and dressed him up in this cracking costume.

Connie then sent the photo of the eight-month-old Lhasa Apso dog into the Mail in the hope of being crowned champion of this year’s Santa Paws competition.

“I love Charlie to bits,” beamed Connie, of Chester Road, in Hartlepool.

“This will be his first Christmas with us so we have got him into the festive spirit.”

Meanwhile, Tyler Vaughan and his sister, Keira, have also got involved and sent us a picture of Ruby, the sausage dog which they look after on weekends.

And it isn’t just at Christmas when Tyler and Keira dress Ruby up in quirky outfits.

“We love dressing Ruby up in her festive outfits and at Easter time we dress her up as a bunny,” said eight-year-old Tyler.

It’s a big thanks from us to Connie, Tyler and Keira for sending in these fantastic snaps of their beloved pets.

And now it’s your turn to get involved and give yourself a chance of winning a £50 voucher to be spent in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre.

We want readers to send in pictures of their much loved pets in any form of festive get-up.

And Santa Paws isn’t just limited to dogs and cats.

Guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles or any cute pet can enter.

When you send your photographs in, don’t forget to tell us a little bit about yourself and your pet.

We want to know your name, age, address, animal type and exactly why you dressed him or her up.
