THOUSANDS of people will descend on a football ground to enjoy the fifth year of a music festival.
Talent-nurturing Hartlepool charity Red Dreams is holding the Pitch Invasion event at Hartlepool United’s Victoria Park ground on May 12-13.
More than 50 acts will perform over two stages and there will also be stalls, face-painting, T-shirt making, games, inflatables, and funfair rides.
As well as local acts who attend the Whitby Street South-based Red Dreams, led by husband-and-wife team Dawn and Ian McManus, the stages will also see headline performances by tribute acts Kings Of Lyon and Howaysis, as well as support from well-established local bands The White Negroes, Mercedes, The Jar Family, Missing Andy and General Fiasco.
