HARTLEPOOL United players will be taking off their boots and getting behind the desk in support of the club’s season ticket offer.
Four members of the first-team squad will be doing a shift in Pools’ ticket office this week in a bid to boost sales.
Reliable defender Evan Horwood will get the ball rolling when he takes his position in the office from 3pm-5pm today.
Adam Boyd will be hoping to strike up a few sales when he does his shift at the same time tomorrow.
Tough-tackling Peter Hartley will spend two hours in the ticket office on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm-5pm.
Players’ player of the year Antony Sweeney will be hoping to wrap up a successful four days of sales when he makes his way to the office at the same time on Thursday.
It means Pools supporters will not only have the opportunity to buy a season ticket for just £100 this week, but also get the chance to meet one of their favourite players.
Fans now have less than three weeks to take advantage of the ground-breaking offer.
So far just under 2,500 fans have guaranteed their seat to cheer the team on next year.
If the club reach their target of 4,000 sales before Friday, July 15, then supporters will have to pay just £100 for their season ticket – remarkably less than £5 per game.
People can snap up a ticket by making their way to the ticket office, at Victoria Park.
The office is usually open from 10am-4pm from Monday-Friday, but opening hours have been extended in the lead up to the deadline.
The office will be open from 10am-6pm this Thursday, June 30 and again on Thursday, July 7 and Thursday, July 14.
It will also open this Saturday, July 2, and on Saturday, July 9 from 9am-1pm.
Meanwhile current season ticket holders are reminded that the deadline for them to renew their seats from last year is 4pm today.
