PLACES are up for grabs on a playscheme which is being launched by Funky World in the summer holidays.
The CIC has been awarded funding from Hartlepool Borough Council to run a scheme for children with disabilities aged three to 18, and their siblings.
It will be fully supervised and will run from the first Monday of the school holidays.
Ten places per session are available and centre manager Louise Simonian urged anyone interested to “book up sooner rather than later.”
The playscheme will run on Mondays from 10am to noon, based at Funky World.
On Fridays from 10am to 3.30pm, there will be trips out to places such as Summerhill, Tweddle Farm, Nature’s World, and Preston Park.
The cost of signing up for Mondays is £3.50 per child per session and it includes a drink and snack.
The cost to sign up for Fridays is £10 per child per session which includes drinks, snacks and a lunch.
Parents are welcome to stay subject to space available on the mini-bus for the trips, or they can use the scheme as a chance to grab some respite time.
