Police and firefighters called to late-night van fire in Hartlepool

Firefighters were called to the scene of a van fire in Barton Avenue, off Oxford Road in Hartlepool, on Saturday, February 22.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland Fire Brigade said: “We attended a van on fire on Barton Avenue at 8.44pm.

“Two appliances from Hartlepool Fire Station attended and the police were requested to attend.

“One hose rail jet was used to extinguish the fire.”
