Police force out to engage with communities

Cleveland Police are looking to improve their engagement with people through an event aimed at diverse communities.

The Communities Conference is being hosted by Cleveland’s Strategic Independent Advisory Group (SIAG), which is a group of people from diverse backgrounds who act as a critical friend to the police.

The event is being held at Teesside University on Wednesday, October 28, from 4pm–7pm, and will feature presentations on a subjects including child sexual exploitation, prevent and counter terrorism, professional standards, diversity monitoring and hate crime.
