A MAN was threatened with a knife during a terrifying street robbery by three hooded yobs.
Police are appealing for information after the man was robbed of cash as he walked to a supermarket in Hartlepool.
The victim was walking in the town’s Mapleton Road at 11.30pm on Saturday, June 25, when he was approached by three men.
One of the thugs pulled out a knife with a three-inch blade and threatened the victim with it, demanding that he “give him everything he has”.
The victim did not hand anything over, but a second man put his hand into the victim’s tracksuit bottoms and pulled out £30 in cash.
All three men then ran off in the direction of Dyke House School and the victim ran back home where he alerted police.
The knifeman was described as white, 5ft 11ins-tall, slim build, aged about 28 and wearing a dark coloured ‘hoody’ which he had pulled up over his head, and jeans.
Police say the second man is described as white, around 5ft 7ins-tall, slim build, aged about 28 and wearing a dark hooded-top over his head, and tracksuit bottoms.
The third man is described as white, around 5ft 7ins-tall, medium build aged around 28, also wearing a dark hoody pulled up over his head and jeans.
