THEY are Poolies and they are proud – and they have spread the word about their home town across the Caribbean.
Sandra Gleeson and her sister-in-law Wendy Hockborn are the latest people to spread the word about the greatest town on the planet.
They were on a cruise which took in Grenada, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands.
At each location, they posed with a copy of the Mail’s Proud To Be A Poolie poster which is helping to raise awareness of Hartlepool and our pride in our town.
Our thanks go to them for taking the trouble to send us these photographs.
Why not take your chance to show your passion about your town?
All we want you to do is pick up a copy of our new poster from the Hartlepool Mail reception or download it from www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk. It contains the slogan Proud To Be A Poolie.
Take it with you whenever you go on holiday or go away for a short break.
Have your photograph taken with the poster and send it to us so that we can publish it – and show that you have helped to spread the Hartlepool word.
Send your photos - as well as details including age, address, telephone number and email - to the Mail newsdesk, Hartlepool Mail, New Clarence House, Wesley Square, Hartlepool, TS24 8BX, or log onto www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk
