Razor thefts and Milk Tray thievery among festive crimes in Hartlepool

The following people were dealt with at Hartlepool Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 21:

Colin Paul Clark, 34, of Charterhouse Street, Hartlepool, pleaded guilty to having class A drug diamorphine in his possession.

He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £180 criminal courts charge.

Andrew Frank Downing, 38, of Rium Terrace, Hartlepool, pleaded guilty to stealing razors, to the value of £75, belonging to Morrisons.

He was made subject to a community order and made to pay a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and criminal courts charges of £150.

Jeffrey Dylan Mincher, 18, of Allerton Close, Hartlepool, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

He was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a criminal courts charge of £150.

He also admitted committing a further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge. No action was taken.

James Stephen Picken, 34, of Rium Terrace, Hartlepool, pleaded guilty to stealing Milk Tray Chocolates, to the value of £39, belonging to Asda.

He was given a community order and made to pay a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a criminal courts charge of £150. He also admitted committing an offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge. No adjudication was made and he was deal with for the original offence.
