AFTER weeks of preparation, a hard-working production cast will take to the stage for the first showing of The Sound of Music tonight.
The classic production has been brought to the stage of the Town Hall Theatre, in Hartlepool’s Raby Road by the Hartlepool Stage Society.
The final touches are now complete and the cast are all ready to go ahead of the first showing at the theatre tonight at 7pm.
But people have plenty of opportunities to see the show.
The production runs until Sunday, May 6 with each show getting underway at 7pm and a 2pm Saturday matinee.
Jill Jackson, Hartlepool Stage Society chairperson and director, said: “We would like the town to support us in this production which is so full of the family favourite songs and is brilliantly performed by our own local talent.”
More colourful action-packed photographs from the production will appear in Wednesday’s Hartlepool Mail.
Tickets for the production are priced at £10 or £8 for concessions.
They can be bought from the town hall box office by calling (01429) 890000.
