DANCE crew Ruff Diamond mixed with music mega stars - and found themselves in front of the paparazzi.
On a glittering night of celebrities, the Hartlepool dance crew got to open the proceedings at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards
They danced in front of 12,500 fans at the Wembley Arena on Sunday and appeared on stage with pop icon Rita Ora and Radio 1 Breakfast host Nick Grimshaw.
Other stars on the bill included Jessie J, James Arthur and Tinie Tempah.
They also got to meet stars back stage and Ruff Diamond choreographer and dance member Zac Healey said: “It was brilliant. It was a really good experience.
“We were back stage in the green room and there was Conor Maynard, Taylor Swift, Little Mix. We were stood thinking ‘oh my goodness’!”
The crew were then chauffeur driven to the front of the arena where they walked down the red carpet to a crowd of 50 to 60 photographers, said Zac.
It’s yet another great memory in a remarkable year which saw Ruff Diamond finish runners-up in the Sky 1 competition Got To Dance before being crowned UK adult hip hop champions and winning the Inspire category at the Hartlepool Mail Sports Awards.
