RESIDENTS can have their say on their area at a ward surgery meeting this weekend.

Residents of the De Bruce ward are invited to the meeting, which will be held at West View Community Centre, in Miers Avenue, in the town, this Saturday, from 10am-11am.

Labour councillors Rob Cook, Sheila Griffin and Sylvia Tempest are all expected to be in attendance.

Police community support officers are also expected to attend and listen to any concerns local residents may have.

Meanwhile, the next opportunity for residents of the Hart ward to quiz local councillors will be next month.

That ward surgery will be held in the Gillen Arms, in Clavering Road, on Saturday, July 6 from 10am-11am.

Labour councillors Paul Beck, Jean Robinson and independent councillor Keith Fisher are all expected to attend.

All residents are welcome at all of the ward surgeries held around the town. For a full list of all ward surgery meetings visit www.hartlepool.gov.uk.
