THE worried owner of a distinctive cat is offering a reward for his safe return home.
Louie (pictured), a Maine Coon breed of cat, went missing from home in the Owton Manor area of Hartlepool last Thursday night.
His increasingly worried owner, Wendy Harvey, a teaching assistant, of Maxwell Road, has appealed for help to find him.
As well as posting notices around the area she is offering up to £250 as a reward for finding him.
Wendy, a mum of two, said: “He is a very large cat, not your average cat, and with his very long bushy tail that looks like a raccoon’s tail he really is rather unusual.
“He is beautiful and I’m constantly checking to see if he has come back.
“The whole family misses him and I’ve also got two other cats pining for him.
“I’m just desperate to get him back.”
