A BUSY road was closed for half an hour after a car collided with a central reservation.
Firefighters, police and ambulance crews were called to Seaton Lane, in Hartlepool, at around 6.30pm on Sunday to deal with the incident.
It is believed a car collided with both plastic bollards in the central reservation before a second car, a BMW, then collided with the damaged reservation.
The underside of the BMW was damaged, causing the air bags to go off.
Emergency services were called and the road was closed for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, firefighters were also called to an incident in Hart Lane at about 5.30pm after a Peugeot 106 collided with a parked Hyundai.
The drive shaft on the Peugeot had snapped and oil had spilled into the road.
Police were marshalling traffic around the incident and firefighters were there for about 40 minutes.
