MOTORISTS are being made aware of roadworks that may cause disruption to their journeys.
There will be temporary lane closures on the A1027 ring road/Wolviston Road roundabout which links the A19 to Billingham and Stockton at off-peak times all week from today.
The Highways Agency and Carnell are installing new telecommunications ducts as part of new A19 ramp metering works.
In separate work, a new pedestrian crossing is being installed on Wolviston Road, Billingham, between the junctions with Station Road and Roseberry Road.
The work started on Monday, January 10, and is expected to last for two more weeks from today.
Lane closures will be required to allow the work to proceed in safety.
As a result of Northern Gas Networks and Balfour Beatty carrying out essential gas replacement works, there will also be temporary lane closures in Marsh House Avenue and The Causeway, in Billingham, from today until Sunday at off-peak times.
