Roadworks warning to drivers

MOTORISTS are being warned to plan ahead to account for forthcoming roadworks.

A stop and go board will be in operation in Church Street, Hartlepool, on January 6 to allow for a CCTV sewer survey to take place.

Two-way traffic signals, which have been in operation on the A178 Tees Road in Hartlepool to allow for the construction of a new road junction, will be removed over the Christmas period but will be introduced to allow final resurfacing works in the new year.

Work is being proposed at the Oxford Road/Stockton Road junction in the town to enable repairs to BT equipment and four-way traffic signals are expected to be in operation while the work takes place overnight on January 17.
