DETECTIVES have renewed their appeal for information after a woman was pushed over in on a country lane by two youths who grabbed and smashed her mobile phone.
A 51-year-old woman was pushed as she walked on a footpath by the B1281 road between Castle Eden and Blackhall, near the Hesleden turn-off.
Police say so far no one has come forward with information since the incident, which happened around 11.30am on Thursday, August 25.
Two boys believed to be aged under 13, with one wearing a grey hoody and the other wearing a blue one, are said to have grabbed the woman’s phone before running across some nearby fields.
