SANTA CLOTHES: Yule look cool for Christmas!

CHRISTMAS is coming and we’re urging people to get into the festive spirit.

The Mail is launching this year’s Santa Clothes competition and we want you all to get involved.

We want you to send in pictures of you, your children and your pets dressed up for Christmas to crank up the festive cheer in Hartlepool and east Durham.

Last year we were inundated with pictures ranging from festive felines to Yuletide youngsters as you got right into the spirit of Christmas.

We are starting this year’s with this picture of Alfie the cat dressed up in festive garb.

This year the competition is being broken into two sections and Hartlepool’s newest taxi company HODA is wishing its customers a very happy Christmas by providing prizes of £100 for the best child or adult picture and £100 for the best pet or animal photo.

We had entrants last year including snowmen, Santa’s helpers, reindeer and a range of animals dressed up and the best of the bunch were Alec Jones, Emma Gardner, McKenzie Lee Stevens, brothers Oliver Richardson and Charlie Snowdon and Maddie the dog.

Now we want you to get your Santa suits dusted down, get the tinsel from the loft and help us enjoy the Christmas countdown.

Send your pictures into the Mail and we’ll do our best to get them in the paper.

Make sure you include your name, the name of who is in the photograph and contact details so we can reach you if you win.

Pictures can be sent to Santa Clothes, Hartlepool Mail newsdesk, New Clarence House, Wesley Square, Hartlepool, TS24 8BX, or via email to: mail.news@northeast-press.co.uk.
