A HUGELY popular scooter show will be back again next year, the delighted organisers have promised.
Plans have already been drawn up for the event, which attracted hundreds of keen fans to Elwick, to return to the Hartlepool area. Shaun Ryan, one of the organisers, told the Mail: “After the very successful scooter show, organised by the Supporters Scooter Club, the event is to be repeated in 2014. We held a meeting at the McOrville in Elwick and decided such was the success that we would do it all again next year.” Its success was also indicated by the fantastic £1,600 raised for the Miles for Men cancer charity. Scooters came from as far afield as Berwick on Tweed and Mansfield in Nottinghamshire for this year’s event. There was support as well from local clubs including the Hartlepool Scooter Cub, Billingham A19 club and the Stockton Wasps.
