Sentimental instrument snatched in shed burglary

A highly sentimental musical instrument has been stolen in a burglary in Hartlepool.

Police say the accordion piano was snatched during a garden shed break-in in the Briarfields Close area.

The burglary is said to have happened sometime between Wednesday, February 15, and Sunday, February 19.

The accordion was blue and white and was in its original brown box.

Two electric drills and a Karcher washer were also stolen.

Anyone with information to the whereabouts of the items or who has been offered them for sale, is asked to contact PC Margaret McDonald on the non-emergency number 101.
