A PERSONAL stylist has helped shoppers to shape up their pre-Christmas fashion outfits.

Tina Gill led shoppers in Hartlepool when she helped them to match up their outfits at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre.

And among the many customers to take advantage of the experience were two Army cadets.

The Centre hosted a Christmas party style event to help people pick the perfect festive party wear whatever their style, budget or shape.

Personal stylist Tina Gill and her team were on hand to advise shoppers on which outfits and accessories to wear to make the festive season go with a fizz.

Tina said: “Everybody likes to get a bit of advice when shopping for clothes and hopefully we help people make the most of their wardrobe.

“Christmas is an important time for fashion because they are so many parties, nights out and even what to wear on Christmas Day.

“We love coming to Hartlepool, having been here for our jeans style event, the people are always so friendly and open to our advice and fashion suggestions.”

Suzanne Chaney, marketing manager at Middleton Grange, added: “The Christmas Party style event was a great chance for people to have a look at what’s in this season from dazzling, glittery dresses in blues, wines, blacks and animal prints and men’s smart and casual jackets, shirts and trousers.

“The friendly Style Team are great at helping out with any party outfit dilemmas.”

Among those browsing the aisles at the style event were Army Cadets Sarah Ellison and Alleisha Reay, both 16, who took time out from their poppy selling duties to check out the festive fashions.
