A CHARITY is calling on thrillseekers from across Hartlepool and east Durham to take to the skies for the fundraiser of a lifetime.
RNID-Action on Hearing Loss is inviting people to sign up for a tandem skydive and enjoy the experience of falling from the sky from 10,000 feet.
Places will be awarded to fundraisers who pledge to raise £395 for RNID’s research programmes and services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Alaric Shorter, RNID events manager, said: “If you’re looking to forget the long winter months and clear out the cobwebs, sign up now for a thrilling RNID skydive and raise vital funds for our work supporting people who are deaf and hard of hearing.”
Participants simply arrive, receive a briefing, take to the air and jump in tandem with an experienced instructor.
Skydives are available at Shotton Airfield, and more information can be obtained from Alaric Shorter on 0845 634 0687.
