MORE jobs are on the way after a software firm secured investment.
Leading software provider Global Management Platform (GMP) is set to grow after securing investment from a venture capital company dedicated to building successful high growth businesses across the region.
It means the firm, based at the Durham County Council-run NETPark at Sedgefield, will be able to recruit extra staff and build on its already improving market potential.
GMP managing director Kevin Maddison said: “The inward investment from Northern Ventures recently was seen as a milestone in the company’s development and the initial tranche of money received is being used to help the business grow through aggressively marketing our products to create awareness - our clients believe we are a ‘well-kept secret’.
“As we grow our plan is to increase the staff levels by three in the next 12 months, mainly in the sales and customer support areas of the business.”
