“We know what a superb job the hospice does for our community and I am very proud that we can play a part in helping the team there.”

Julie Hildreth, who is the senior fundraising manager at Hartlepool & District Hospice, said: “On behalf of the Hospice, I would like to say a huge thank you to EDF Energy, Workplace Solutions and JHH for their kindness.

“To be able to offer our patients and their visitors a nice environment is very important to us.”

“So for EDF and their partners to support the upkeep of this is a massive help, ensuring that we have comfortable and homely areas in which people can relax.

“This also represents a very substantial saving for us as refurbishment of our premises can be costly and we are very fortunate to receive great support from the businesses such as these in doing this.”
