PLANS will be unveiled for the redevelopment of a string of town centre streets.
People have the chance to influence plans to clear terraced homes in the Raby Road area of Hartlepool and replace them with modern, energy efficient bungalows, two, three and four bedroom houses which will go on public display next week.
The scheme, in partnership with The Homes and Communities Agency, Hartlepool Borough Council and Keepmoat Homes, is aiming to redevelop Grainger, Gray, Hurworth, Perth and Turnbull streets.
The plan is to create a range of community focused cul-de-sacs featuring contemporary homes which reflect the character of the local environment and the properties would be for sale, shared ownership and rent.
Representatives will answer questions and the feedback will influence the development of the proposal.
Plans can be seen at the Wharton Annexe, Wharton Terrace, between 2pm and 7pm on Thursday, April 14. Questions can be asked about the proposals.
There will be face painting and balloon art to keep youngsters entertained between 3.30pm and 6pm.
Anyone interested, but unable to attend, can contact Christine Curran at Keepmoat Homes on (0191) 4873800 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
