TOTAL novices can learn the basics of dance when a new course starts at a Hartlepool studio.
Free sessions are being planned at the Carol Hammond School of Dance which is based in Dalton Street, in Hartlepool.
They get under way on Friday, September 5, from 7pm to 10pm, and Carol said: “They are a great opportunity to get the feel of which course is suitable for you and to discuss any questions that you may have”.
Free tuition will be given in Latin American, ballroom, salsa, samba and baccata.
People can also try out tap, burlesque, and belly dancing.
Classes are also coming soon for children. Carol is starting a Charlie Bear Club.
It begins on Friday, September 12, and it is available for children aged from two to four.
Carol (pictured) said: “There are no competitions, no exams and no shows.
“It is just pure fun each week”.
The classes will run from 4pm to 4.30pm.
