Students show new ideas

A DRAGON'S Den panelist was in the Hartlepool area today to scrutinise the work of young entrepreneurs.

The Wynyard Rooms in Wynyard hosted a competition for students who had generated their own business ideas.

They were all part of the Young Enterprise North East Company Programme and were challenged today to pitch their business plans to the BBC's Dragon's Den judge Duncan Bannatyne.

The winning team was due to receive train tickets to visit the BBC's headquarters in London for a tour and a question-and-answer session with a BBC personality.
